Petit Jean Farm
Dear Folks,

IRRESISTIBLE!

How could a day like this get away without a picnic?  Fresh tomatoes, smoked bacon, Amish made honey wheat bread, warm sun on the shoulder….I know, I know but it has been a L-O-N-G winter.

What fun to eat the BLT's at one of 5 picnic tables scattered around our barnyard, right near the horseshoe stakes and trampoline; kind of like a farm park.  Many/most of my industrial farmer friends have gotten so big and factory mechanical that they have to leave the farm to have fun.

If you are ever visiting Petit Jean Mountain, bring a picnic and make yourself at home at one of those picnic tables.  We don't even have to be home.  We so appreciate your support and hope you think of this as "your" farm.

It has been a long winter, which makes it all the more amazing how so many of you have been so steady right through the winter months.

Remember, there are still plenty of people who only think of farmer's markets as a fair weather activity.  We are sure glad you know better.

There is still a good supply of smoked bacon and CSA Food Farm card holders can still get 25% off bacon and whole chickens.

Our schedule for Downtown Hot Springs is 11:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Friday at the Transportation Plaza.  The Village Community Market remains the same, meeting on Fridays from 2:30 to 5:00 P.M.  Our new location at the Messianic Synagogue on Hwy. 7 in Russellville is 1:30 to 2:30 on Wednesday.  The Locally Grown websites operating this week are Little Rock and VCM.

Orders for Russellville need to be in by 5:00 P.M on Monday.  Orders for the Hot Springs and Little Rock need to be made by noon on Thursday by calling us at 501-727-5659 or emailing ed@gatewayfarm-ar.com.  To check our available inventory, visit our website at http://www.petitjeanfarm.com/FarmInventory.html.  Ordering earlier is always better!
